Hawaii's GMO Temporary Moratorium

A presentation on the controversial, first-ever citizens’ initiative for a temporary moratorium on GMO crops will be held with the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise. Dr. Pang, the Director of Public Health, though speaking as a private citizen, will be sharing his findings on the studies provided by Monsanto to the Mayor. He says, “I have studied this issue in depth and feel responsible to the people of Maui County to protect their health from known threats.”
