Inspiring Kids to Read in Hawaii

I joined Book Trust as Hawaii Director this past January and it’s a wonderful nonprofit organization that support youth literacy through book choice and ownership. In Maui County alone, Book Trust serves nearly 5,000 Elementary School students, allowing each child to purchase 2-3 books each month of the school year and build a personal library of up to 30 books annually!
