What will our energy future look like on Maui? Hear from Kau‘i Awai-Dickson of Maui Electric as she shares the company’s ongoing efforts in reducing Hawai‘i’s dependency on imported fossil fuel; lowering and stabilizing electricity bills for customers; protecting our environment and preserving our island’s unique way of life.

As director of communications at Maui Electric, Kau‘i Awai-Dickson oversees the education, advertising, marketing, public relations, and community outreach efforts for the company’s three service territories on Maui, Moloka‘i, and Lāna‘i. Born and raised in Hawai‘i and a graduate of St. Anthony High School, Kau‘i is passionate in her care for the islands, its people and its future. Kau‘i spent ten years in PR with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawai‘i before joining Maui Electric in 2006.
