2023 Round 1 Vocational Sponsorships

Our first round of vocational sponsorships went amazingly. We granted 15 Lahaina residents $750 worth of tools to help them restart their businesses on Maui. The tools were purchased from a variety of vendors such as Slims, Home Depot, Lowe's, Maui Sporting Goods, Airgas, Costco, and Amazon. We tried to purchase locally if we could. It has been a wonderful experience for our members to help these individuals. The applicants have been grateful and so excited to receive their tools. The professions range from hair stylists, massage therapists, electricians, private chefs, welders, and much more.

Here are a couple snapshots of our applicants receiving tools to rebuild their businesses. We are grateful for all of the donations allowing us to better the Maui community. Mahalo to all of you!

COVID-19 Grocery Gift Cards Giveaway

During the current Coronavirus pandemic we are giving away $25 grocery gift cards to whom needs. Our club is donating 20 gift cards of $25 each weekly redeemable at Lahaina Island Grocery Depot store. We are also receiving donations from other friendly givers adding to the number of gift cards we are able to give away.

Lahaina Sunrise Spreading Christmas Cheer In The Lahaina Community!

The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise is grateful for the opportunity to spread some of the "Aloha Christmas Spirit" each year by donating Wreaths & Christmas Trees (decorations included) to a few families who may need just a little help during the Holiday Season. Mele Kalikimaka!

The Sunrise Club is also honored to show it's gratitude for the service & protection given by the men and women of the Maui Police Department & the Maui Fire Department by donating wreaths annually to each Station. Mahalo for all that they do protecting our community!

The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise's Annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser helps support many notable community projects that directly benefit Lahaina Town & the community at large.

With additional resources from your donations, The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise can continue to develop programs such as; subsidizing meals at local schools; stipends for high school graduates wishing to attend vocational trade schools or college; various monitory donations to numerous non-profit organizations; and many notable community projects that directly benefit Lahaina Town & the community at large.
