The GMO Citizan's Initiative Vote
Autumn Ness is the founder of MauiUNITED, an education and outreach organization focusing on the impact of the biotech industry on the health and safety of Maui's keiki.  She moved to Maui from Japan, where she lived for 12 years, and worked on post-tsunami relief with Architecture for Humanity.
 
Lauryn Rego is a volunteer coordinator for the Coalition for a Safer and Healthier Maui, and has been an advocate for transparency around agricultural practices and our food supply.
 
They will be presenting facts about the impact and scope of the proposed GMO citizen's initiative, providing copies of the proposed law in full, and answering questions about how, if passed, it will impact Maui County.
